Vintage Opal Teardrop Earrings With Old European and Single Cut Diamonds 14K and 10K

Absolutely mesmerizing are these vintage opal teardrop earrings with diamonds! The opals are full of colored fire! Originally screwbacks they are now for pierced ears with 14K yellow gold posts and friction backs. Each 1.25" long earring has 1 Old European cut diamond set in six 10k white gold prongs on the post with a suspended Old European cut diamond set in six 14k yellow gold prongs. Each opal has a 10-14k white gold cap with 15 single cut diamonds prong set in diamond shapes in a harlequin pattern. The 4 Old European cut diamonds total around .56cts and are H-I Color, VS1-VS2 Clarity. The 30 single cut diamonds are approximately .39ct. t.w. I-J Color, VS2-SI1 Clarity. The total weight of the diamonds is approx. .95ct. The tear drop crystal opals are 16.5mm x 7.7mm with all colors present/flash pattern with white as the base.(These earrings are glued and reinforced where the cap meets the opals from the conversion).
